Back in 2000, a mysterious, handsome young guitarist turned up and played the Marlowes club in Bristol, England. The crowd rose to their feet and acknowledged a genius at work. Alas, that guitarist was not Paul Moore, and his current whereabouts is unknown.

|
Paul was inspired by this exhibition of musicianship, and decreed ‘One day, I too will
raise a crowd to their feet’. After many months of practice, Paul ventured onto the stage at a local public house. The crowd indeed rose to their feet… and most of them walked out of the establishment.
|
|
Undeterred, Paul steadily improved, until sometimes, he gained applause. His meteoric rise to mediocrity saw him play a full ˝ hr at the Pig and Fiddle without a single heckle.

|
By 2005, Paul actually got rather good, by sticking to what he’s good at. Love songs in the style of James Blunt, were replaced by his own songs in the style of… well Paul Moore I guess.
|
His song writing strengths resulted in a very successful 2005/6. Highlights of which included:
- Supporting the legendary Wurzels at Weymouth Pavilion, in front
of 400 punters.
- Appearing on the HTV West news, after they picked up on his England World Cup Song ‘We’re off to Germany’
- Appearing on ITV WEST's SOCCERNIGHT programme 3 times, singing specially knocked up football songs
- Appearing at the legendary Jongleurs club in Camden Lock

As for 2007, who knows?, but if he keeps up the momentum of the last 18 months, anything is possible.
